Ok so you might be a little intimidated by the “Gumby’s” you might see in a yoga studio.  But did you know doing Yoga can make you fitter and faster, oh yeah and it helps prevent injuries?  With the cooler weather upon us north easterners Fall to Winter is the perfect opportunity to put excuses aside and start a yoga routine.
However, for those of you that are STILL afraid to jump into one of your local yoga classes or maybe you have time constraints, Hey I am busy just like you!  So I have created this simple and effective video that incorporates yoga moves to get you started on the journey to being fitter and faster.Yoga has the potential to do the body good!Improves strength

The strength and flexibility you develop on the mat in the core, quads, hamstrings, and hip flexors, can help you run more efficiently and stay injury-free.

This is how we do it:

– Leg swing to quad stretch
– Hamstring stretch
– Pyramid feet (calf focus)
– Standing pigeon
– Cross leg IT band
– Kneeling lunge variations
– Seated Forward fold
– Upside down pigeon aka figure 4
– Laying down hamstring stretch
– Spinal twist
