Infusing Fruits – Adult Style
It just so happens I visited the Farmers Market this week and picked up a bunch of white peaches and came across this recipe for a White Peach Sangria! Ok first let me say, I recently became the proud owner of 2 (two) infusing pitchers, so needless to say there has been LOTS of experimenting with Fruits, Essential Oils and Herbs.
With this weekend being a three day holiday and another national holiday plus its the official tail end of summer reminder, I think we should all enjoy in a refreshing drink together.
White Peach Sangria
Ingredients:
1 (750ml) bottle dry white wine
3/4 cup vodka
6 Tbsp. frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1/4 cup sugar
1 pound white peaches, pitted and sliced
3/4 cup seedless red grapes, halved
3/4 cup seedless green grapes, halved
Putting it together:
Start by adding sliced peaches, red and green grapes into the infuser
In the Pitcher, combine dry white wine, vodka, lemonade concentrate and sugar
Secure the infuser into the pitcher and closed the lid
Infuse the fruits for at least 4 (four) hours in the refrigerator
SHAKE & ENJOY! Serve over ice and garnish with sliced peached and grapes.
Serves 6 (if you plan on enjoying this mixture, be sure to have more ingredients on deck)
